Singapore Junior Physics Olympiad (SJPO)

Schools will be invited by the organising committee to take part in SJPO every year. Individual application is not accepted. Please approach the teacher-in-charge for your school if you are interested to take part.

The syllabus is available here. Only non-programmable scientific calculators are allowed (graphing calculators cannot be used). The use of all other electronic devices during the test, such as mobile phones, smart watches, etc. is also strictly prohibited.

Singapore Junior Physics Olympiad (SJPO) 2025

The 2025 Singapore Junior Physics Olympiad will be held on 21 May 2025 3-5pm. Registration is through your school, we do not accept applications from individuals. The completed registration form must be submitted by Friday 11 April 2025.

Singapore Junior Physics Olympiad (SJPO) 2024

The 2024 Singapore Junior Physics Olympiad had experienced some technical difficulties and will be rescheduled to Term 3 (July to September) 2024. We deeply apologise for this inconvenience, and we hope for your continued support.
